The short clip showed off a brief look at the upcoming add-on, confirming that it would focus on the Doom Slayer&#8217;s climactic battle with the Dark Lord and that a full trailer would be on its way.<\/p>\n<p>That full trailer has just dropped, offering players an action-packed look at the upcoming\u00a0<em>Doom\u00a0<\/em>campaign and a surprising\u00a0release date announcement.\u00a0<em>Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods &#8211; Part 2\u00a0<\/em>will officially launch tomorrow, March 18, bringing with it plenty of demon-slaying combat and a conclusion to the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/doom-eternal\/\">Doom Eternal<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>storyline.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/playstation-announces-doom-3-vr-edition-launching-month\/\">PlayStation Announces Doom 3: VR Edition and It&#8217;s Launching This Month<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The footage itself looks to be an evolution of the teaser shown the other day, focusing mainly on the clash between the Doom Slayer and his evil doppelganger, the Dark Lord. The pair will seemingly come to blows through an epic battle that pits the armies of hell against the Night Sentinel forces, with the trailer confirming the DLC will heavily feature the Betrayer, who made his debut\u00a0during\u00a0<em>Eternal&#8217;s\u00a0<\/em>campaign. It appears this large-scale confrontation won&#8217;t be the only setting for\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/doom-eternal-ancient-gods-part-2-reveal-teaser-trailer\/\">The Ancient Gods &#8211; Part 2<\/a>. <\/em>The promo teases several other locations, including a setpiece\u00a0where\u00a0the Doom Slayer ventures to Sentinel Prime to acquire the &#8220;Hell Breaker,&#8221; which is a large laser hammer that seemingly acts similarly to the protagonist&#8217;s Crucible weapon.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gJsd6zpPpo0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The rest of the footage confirms that\u00a0the add-on<em>\u00a0<\/em>will deliver plenty of action, with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/doom-eternal-female-slayer\/\">the Doom Slayer<\/a> beheading demons, blowing apart new enemy types, and even flying on the back of a dragon. It culminates with a teaser for what&#8217;s assumedly going to be the DLC&#8217;s dramatic final encounter, as the Doom Slayer stares down the Dark Lord and braces himself for battle. According to the trailer,\u00a0the player&#8217;s &#8220;war against Hell ends here,&#8221; and it seems\u00a0<em>Doom Eternal\u00a0<\/em>is set on\u00a0going out with a bang.<\/p>\n<p>Players can get their hands on the DLC tomorrow, with the choice of buying either a standard version or a digital deluxe edition, which features the Demonic Slayer skin and a pack of classic weapon sounds.
