Xbox’s gaming subscription service, Game Pass, keeps growing in value with every passing day. Already making hundreds of games available to players for a low monthly price, the recent acquisition of Bethesda’s parent company ZeniMax Media has made the service a lot more convincing for a massive chunk of gamers. In addition to this, the rumor mill keeps churning with the latest among the bunch being the\u00a0addition of Ubisoft games on the platform<\/a>. One additional rumor suggested that People Can Fly’s Outriders<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>was on its way to be included in the service.<\/p>\n

It seems that those rumors ended up being very true, as Xbox has officially confirmed that Outriders<\/em><\/a> would be available on\u00a0Xbox Game Pass day-and-date with the game’s launch day.\u00a0Fans are already delighted at the prospect of trying out the game at launch, and it seems that a multitude of factors makes the Xbox Game Pass service the best platform for the game.<\/p>\n

As much as Outriders<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>may turn out to be great, the concept of third-person shooters with co-op elements and team abilities is one that has been explored multiple times in the subgenre. People Can Fly has already stated multiple times that Outriders<\/em> would be a one-time purchase<\/a> and there are currently no plans for DLCs. However, the looter-shooter nature of the game does warrant a lot of rigorous feedback in terms of drop rates, balance updates, and the likes.<\/p>\n

Xbox Game Pass has a huge subscriber base, and the number of players is definitively bound to be higher as more players would be tempted to try out Outriders<\/em> at launch<\/a>. This, in turn, can generate a lot of feedback which seems essential for this kind of game. Inconsistencies in the game’s balance can be ironed out very quickly and easily with such an amount of feedback available at the developer’s disposal, which would definitely make Outriders<\/em> better by the day. On the topic of future DLCs and expansions, similar feedback can be gained about how to expand the game’s universe and deciding upon key-elements of the game’s post-launch support.<\/p>\n

Outriders<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is set to release on April 1 on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.<\/p>\n
