Since then,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a> has brought fans a wide variety of map POIs, original and crossover skins, and\u00a0loads of weapons.<\/p>\n<p>Of course,\u00a0the game features first and third-person standard weapons like pistols, assault rifles, and shotguns, but\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> also made its mark with some more wacky weapons like the Boogie Bomb, the Pumpkin Launcher, and the Big Chill. Following <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-leak-gnome-gun-troll-launcher\/\">rumors of a possible Gnome Gun,<\/a> it looks like a different strange weapon may be making its way over to\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> in the form of the Recycler.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-zero-crisis-russo-brothers-direct\/\">Fortnite&#8217;s Zero Crisis Story Cinematic Was Directed by the Russo Brothers<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Over on Twitter, popular\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> leaker HYPEX revealed information on the new weapon, which seems to feature the shape of a face with sharp teeth. According to the leaker, the weapon will be able to suck in ammo and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-building-material-smg-balance-changes\/\">materials like wood, brick, and metal<\/a> in order to shoot out a &#8220;Junk Bomb&#8221; at opponents. HYPEX also revealed that the in-game feed for an elimination with the Recycler weapon will read that one player &#8220;scrapped&#8221; another.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HYPEX\/status\/1372258923806392323?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Although much of this new information comes via leaks, HYPEX also pointed out that the weapon can even be spotted for a brief moment in the new Battle Pass trailer. With <em>Fortnite<\/em>\u00a0Chapter 2 Season 6 now under way, this upcoming\u00a0Recycler weapon seems like it could certainly fit the part of the game&#8217;s new Primal theme. While fans were <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-season-6-black-drum-shotgun-rumor\/\">expecting to see\u00a0the Black Drum Shotgun<\/a> from\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s Save the World mode make it over to the battle royale in Season 6, they actually got the new Primal Shotgun weapon, though the two are fairly similar to each other. Players can hunt and scavenge for materials to make their own Makeshift, Primal, and Mechanical weapons, so it&#8217;s possible that the Recycler will fall into one of those crafting categories.<\/p>\n<p>In Chapter 2 Season 6, most weapons can be found in a base Makeshift form, which can then be upgraded to Primal and Mechanical versions through crafting. While <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-primal-weapon-crafting\/\">Primal weapons\u00a0deal much more damage,<\/a> they are not as accurate as Mechanical weapons, so players may need to pick and choose how they go about upgrading the\u00a0weapons in their inventory during any given\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> match.<\/p>\n<p>Season 6\u00a0also introduced fans to another expansive new Battle Pass, this time featuring crossover skins with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-season-6-lara-croft-tomb-raider-skins\/\">Lara Croft from\u00a0<em>Tomb Raider<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and Raven from\u00a0<em>Teen Titans<\/em>.
