Following the highly-anticipated announcement of\u00a0Life is Strange: True Colors<\/em><\/strong>, singer-songwriter and Twitch streamer mxmtoon, also known by her first name Maia, will be joining the cast as Alex Chen’s in-game singing voice.<\/p>\n

A couple weeks back, rumors surrounding the third installment in the main\u00a0Life is Strange\u00a0<\/em>series began circulating. Now, with the Square Enix Presents showcase earlier today, it looks like the rumors were dead-on. The game will prominently feature Alex, an Asian-American woman returning to her hometown in the midwestern town of Haven Springs. The story will largely encompass Alex as she struggles with the loss of her brother Gabe, but along with her psychic power referred to as empathy, Alex is also an experienced musician, detailed in the trailers and in-depth look of Life is Strange:\u00a0<\/em>True Colors<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the showcase, mxmtoon appeared to announce that she will be voicing Alex’s singing voice in\u00a0Life is Strange: True Colors<\/em> alongside Alex’s main voice actress, Ericka Mori. Square Enix also previewed Maia as Alex’s singing voice with a cover of “Creep” by Radiohead, not unlike The\u00a0<\/a><\/em>Last of Us 2<\/em>‘s cover<\/a> of the same song.<\/p>\n
