As many gamers move onto the next generation of consoles, some have found it comforting to know their old save data will not be long forgotten. One of the many features of the PS5 is that the console can transfer save data over from the PS4<\/a>\u00a0to continue playing titles such as Bugsnax, God of War,<\/em>\u00a0and Marvel’s Avengers<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While the process is not particularly complex, some gamers are having issues with the transfer process, specifically with the recent\u00a0Marvel’s Avengers<\/em><\/a>. Many have reported crashing during the transfer, some completed trophies not popping up for them, and the same “error message: 107879-2” keeps popping up and stopping the download process.<\/p>\n

On the game’s official Twitter account, Square Enix<\/a> announced the team is aware of the game’s migrating issues, and that any lasting issues should be resolved by now. Fans need to simply launch the fully updated PS4 version and go into the main menu’s migration tab. Once the migration is done, they can start the PS5 version, and there should be a prompt to download the data.<\/p>\n
