Revealing the very first Xbox alongside Microsoft founder Bill Gates 20 years ago, the wrestler-turned-actor has always kept a finger on the pulse of the gaming industry. If some recent\u00a0<strong><em>Fortnite<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>theories are true, however, his involvement in video games is about to be on a whole new level.<\/p>\n<p>Epic Games&#8217; popular free-to-play battle royale officially launches its sixth season just a few days ago. The finale to\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s prior season was revealed in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-zero-crisis-cinematic\/\">Zero Point Crisis cinematic<\/a>, which saw the likes of\u00a0<em>God of War<\/em>&#8216;s Kratos,\u00a0<em>Alien<\/em>&#8216;s Xenomorph and Ripley, and\u00a0a slew of other\u00a0characters from Season 5&#8217;s many franchise crossovers.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dwayne-the-rock-johnson-xbox-tease-march-2021\/\">The Rock is Teasing Another Xbox Collaboration<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As players who&#8217;ve seen the cinematic \u2013 which was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-zero-crisis-russo-brothers-direct\/\">directed by the Russo Brothers<\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0will know, Agent Jones encounters The Foundation, a member of the mysterious &#8220;The Seven,&#8221; a group which was first teased back in Season 4 of\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s first chapter. After nearly beating Jones to death, The Foundation agrees to work with the now-rogue agent under the promise of being taken to someone named &#8220;Geno.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While the character may have just been introduced, many fans believe they already know who it is: The Rock. There are several factors that contribute to this theory: beyond the character arriving in an asteroid, which is a space rock. Building foundations also contain rock as well.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/FortNiteBR\/comments\/m7ptrj\/could_it_be_him_the_tattoo_profile_the_name\/\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Building on that &#8220;foundation&#8221; of name similarity, some Reddit users have gone on to point out The Foundation&#8217;s physical characteristics match up with The Rock&#8217;s. As seen in the image, a section of The Foundation&#8217;s armor matches up perfectly with Dwayne&#8217;s tattoo profile, even down to the circular design on the left pec. Additionally, The Rock posted a cryptic video to his Instagram the day\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a> Season 6 began\u00a0where he talked about how that day &#8220;was a big day&#8221; in a &#8220;certain world.&#8221; Johnson pauses at the end of the video before uttering &#8220;the foundation&#8221; along with his signature eyebrow raise. It&#8217;s also worth mentioning the video is titled the same phrase as well.<\/p>\n<p>All of these clues together create an extremely convincing case The Rock and The Foundation are one and the same.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/the-rock-fortnite-skin\/\">Dwayne Johnson did tease a potential <em>Fortnite<\/em> skin<\/a> last November in response to a Thanksgiving Day parade float of his likeness, but many figured his possible appearance would be much more straightforward. Instead, it seems like the actor will have a much more integral role to\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s ongoing storyline.<\/p>\n<p>While the theoretical addition of The Rock would certainly be an exciting one, it&#8217;s not the only exciting development rumored to happen.
