\tAfin d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux services 5G, Orange a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019investir dans Venture Reality Fund II, un fonds de capital-risque am\u00e9ricain sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans la R\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00c9tendue et l\u2019Intelligence Artificielle.<\/p>\n

Orange affirme son intention d\u2019investir une somme non pr\u00e9cis\u00e9e dans le fonds am\u00e9ricain \u00ab\u00a0qui vise une taille d\u2019au moins 50M$ et pr\u00e9voit d\u2019investir dans au moins 35 soci\u00e9t\u00e9s op\u00e9rant dans l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me XR (Extended Reality) tirant parti de la 5G\u00a0\u00bb, selon le communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Venture Reality Fund II est g\u00e9r\u00e9 par Venture Reality Fund (VRF), un fonds de capital-risque cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2016.<\/p>\n

Orange explique que son investissement est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 faciliter l\u2019\u00e9mersion de technologies li\u00e9es \u00e0 la R\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00c9tendue (R\u00e9alit\u00e9 Augment\u00e9e, R\u00e9alit\u00e9 Virtuelle, R\u00e9alit\u00e9 Mixte) et l\u2019Intelligence Artificielle (IA). L\u2019op\u00e9rateur cible en particulier le divertissement, l\u2019industrie 4.0, la recherche m\u00e9dicale et la formation.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Contribuer \u00e0 ce nouvel \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me est un moyen pour Orange d’ouvrir des possibilit\u00e9s in\u00e9dites en faisant levier sur nos r\u00e9seaux 5G et de cr\u00e9er de nouvelles exp\u00e9riences pour nos clients \u00bb, explique Karine Dussert-Sarthe, directrice marketing produit, design et Open Innovation.<\/p>\n

Cette nouvelle d\u00e9cision d\u2019investissement intervient un peu de plus de quatre ans apr\u00e8s l\u2019introduction par Orange d\u2019un casque de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle et d\u2019une app sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n\n
