Before long, the girl encounters a sinister character lurking in her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/animal-crossing-new-horizons-monsters-inc-home-design\/\"><em>Animal Crossing\u00a0<\/em>home<\/a>, begging her to let him free. The entire movie was\u00a0devised\u00a0during the pandemic and launched on YouTube back in October.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/S51jIrunYuY?start=299&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The short film is the next in a long line of horror releases for Julian Terry, who&#8217;s\u00a0currently in the process of adapting another of his short films into a feature-length project. Titled\u00a0<em>Whisper,\u00a0<\/em>that film also\u00a0blends\u00a0technology and the supernatural, focusing on an <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/amazon-echo-mass-effect-easter-egg\/\">Amazon Echo<\/a> that registers the sounds of a malevolent entity lurking in a woman&#8217;s home.<\/p>\n<p><em>Whisper&#8217;s\u00a0<\/em>adaptation will be helmed by Terry himself, while the film will be distributed by Amblin Pictures and the script will be penned by\u00a0Bryce McGuire. The ambitious young horror director clearly has an eye for the macabre,\u00a0creating an array of inventive, creepy shorts which can be viewed over on his YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>Although the game itself is\u00a0the polar opposite of the genre,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/animal-crossing-new-horizons\/\">Animal Crossing: New Horizons<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>players have attempted to weave horror into the title ever since its debut last year.
