The PlayStation Access YouTube channel has released a video, captured completely on PS5, which focuses on 5 things players need to know before jumping into Disco Elysium: The Final Cut<\/em><\/a> for the first time.<\/p>\n

For those who have no idea what Disco Elysium<\/em> is, it’s essentially a CRPG-style detective game, set in a fantastic realism world<\/a> with its own fully fleshed out lore, which dives heavily into themes of politics, philosophy, and religion. The game follows an amnesiac detective who, after waking up alone after a drug-fueled bender, is tasked with investigating the death of a hanging man behind a motel. Since the game was limited to only a PC release in 2019, there are many players who have still yet to experience the rich, dense world that it\u00a0has to offer. Thankfully, now players can experience the game on both PS4 and PS5, with the latter offering an impressive 4K resolution at 60 fps on PS5.<\/p>\n

PlayStation Access’ video shows off the game’s stunning performance on PS5, while running down some basics that players should know going in. However, be warned that some of the gameplay footage shown in the video may contain spoilers for important parts of the game’s story.
