Destruction AllStars<\/em><\/strong> has a solid\u00a0line-up of hero characters for players to use in the vehicular game’s multiplayer modes. However, similar to Blizzard’s shooter\u00a0Overwatch<\/em><\/a>, some characters require tweaking to balance out the game for players.<\/p>\n

Recently, Lucid Games released\u00a0a\u00a0FAQ post on Reddit for Destruction AllStars<\/em><\/a>, where Community Manager George Rule and Game Director Colin Berry covered various changes coming to the game. In the post, Rule\u00a0said that Lucid Games\u00a0will be addressing\u00a0various bugs and issues, and is working on several new content patches.\u00a0Part of this includes tweaking a couple of\u00a0AllStars, specifically Bluefang and Ratu.<\/p>\n

Berry said\u00a0Lucid Games become aware that both of the AllStars were\u00a0overpowered in the game thanks to feedback from its player community. He also said that\u00a0the developer will be doing a balance pass soon that will nerf both Ratu and Bluefang, the latter of whom recently received his own Challenger Series<\/a>. On top of that, Berry\u00a0said Lucid Games intends to cover various problems at once instead of making small, sporadic updates to balance out\u00a0Destruction AllStars<\/em>.<\/p>\n

According to the post, Lucid Games is currently working on several updates for Destruction AllStars<\/em><\/a> that will address other issues and aspects of the game. This includes issues like players not being rewarded for the trophies they completed. The developer refining the\u00a0party system so its community\u00a0can play\u00a0Gridfall and Mayhem against their friends, and the developer will be returning party chat back to Destruction AllStars<\/em> within the next few weeks if everything goes according to plan.<\/p>\n

The FAQ\u00a0also covered\u00a0the issue of “Phantom Hits” being reported by players. According to the post, Phantom Hits were moments where players were hit by something that wasn’t on screen. Berry said Lucid Games is actively\u00a0investigating the issue, but it hasn’t determined the exact source of the problem yet. He said some\u00a0of the possible problems could be poor messaging in the game, poorly communicating hits from the AllStar Shyft, or lag and vehicle replication.<\/p>\n

The post also brings up how players had an issue with matchmaking in Destruction AllStars<\/em>, particularly the long queue times before entering a game. According to the post, the developer is working to address these problems and has come up with several solutions to try and improve the load times.\u00a0Alongside the recently announced content roadmap for Destruction AllStars<\/em><\/a>, this shows Lucid Games is still hard at work supporting the game\u00a0for its players.<\/p>\n
