The game takes place in the colorful world of Teyvat, home to seven different nations that are\u00a0all tied to a specific element<\/a>. And while the player controls and follows the story of the Traveler, the protagonist, they can\u00a0play as many other interesting heroes.<\/p>\n

One of these unique characters is Noelle, referred to as the “Chivalric Blossom.”\u00a0She controls the element of\u00a0Geo and uses a Claymore as her weapon of choice. Noelle,\u00a0a four-star character, is…well…she’s a maid. Do not sleep on her yet though because while right now she is sweeping and dusting someday Noelle will be the greatest knight of all time.<\/p>\n

“Like most of Mondstadt’s young people, Noelle always dreamed of being a knight of Favonius when she grew up. She may not have what it takes to be a knight just yet, but she is learning. Working as a maid at the Knights’ headquarters, she is constantly taking notes on what constitutes knightly speech, knightly conduct, and knightly customs. She holds firm to her belief that one day she will join their ranks – she just needs to keep trying her hardest at everything she does.”<\/p>\n

This is how miHoYo, the developers of\u00a0Genshin Impact<\/em>, define Noelle on the game’s official website. She is not your typical maid. Noelle has hopes and dreams, and they revolve around her very workplace\u00a0\u2014 the Knights of Favonius. She wants to be one herself. Whenever Noelle is not working, she is observing the knights train or honing her skills on the battlefield.<\/p>\n

This is what Noelle’s\u00a0in-game character attributes<\/a>\u00a0text\u00a0reads in\u00a0Genshin Impact<\/em>.\u00a0Beyond being a hard worker and working towards becoming a knight, Noelle always helps others and enjoys doing so. She is polite too, perhaps the most polite playable character in the game.<\/p>\n

Noelle is underage so she does not drink alcohol (like many others do in Teyvat). She also watches her figure carefully, sticking to a diet despite loving food and eating. Although Noelle has a Geo Vision, she wishes she had Anemo<\/a>. And, Noelle is stubborn (yet loyal).<\/p>\n

Yes, Noelle is a maid; and yes, she looks like a maid too. But there is much more to her. Noelle changes it up by wearing a priestess hat, a red cravat\/tie, and dozens of roses and bows all over her. While she has on a red dress, it has a crystal orb (her Vision) attached. It gets better too because Noelle wears a white-and-gold plate of armor on her chest, a white-and-gold pauldron on her shoulder, and white-and-gold armored boots (with black tights underneath, of course).<\/p>\n

When it comes to appearance, she has light skin, olive eyes, and\u00a0short\u00a0grayish-purple hair that is partly braided and has a shieldlike clip in it.<\/p>\n

To\u00a0level up a character’s talents, the player needs to acquire numerous materials. When it comes to Noelle, she likes Teachings of Resistance, Guide to Resistance, and Philosophies of Resistance; Noelle also prefers Damaged Mask, Stained Mask, and Ominous Mask; and\u00a0he\u00a0is a fan of Dvalin’s Claw<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When it comes to Ascension, Noelle wants lots of\u00a0Prithiva Topaz (Sliver, Fragment, Chunk, Gemstone), Basalt Pillar, Masks (Damaged, Stained, Ominous), and Valberry. These are\u00a0plump and translucent berries that not only smell sweet but taste sweet too.<\/p>\n

From levels one to six, they are “I Got Your Back,” Combat Maid, Invulberable Maid, “To Be Cleaned,” Favonius Sweeper Master, and “Must Be Spotless.”<\/p>\n

Noelle is a good maid and a trustworthy one at that. In Mondstadt, a rose is symbolic for<\/a> “my lips are sealed;” that’s why she covers herself in them and wears lots of red. If Noelle is to ever become a Knight herself, revealing their secrets would prevent that dream of coming true.<\/p>\n
