Amongst those most vocal is comedian and\u00a0<em>Saturday Night Live\u00a0<\/em>alum Leslie Jones, who live-tweeted herself watching the Snyder Cut.<\/p>\n<p>Jones began her career as a stand-up comedian and was thrust into stardom after she joined the cast of SNL in 2014. She was then cast in the all-female reboot of\u00a0<em>Ghostbusters\u00a0<\/em>in 2016, which further increased her stardom. Sadly, fame and success also come with a downside. After the release of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ghostbusters-director-cried-watching-sequel\/\">the\u00a0<em>Ghostbusters\u00a0<\/em>reboot<\/a>,\u00a0Jones was relentlessly harassed on social media (Twitter in particular) by racist and misogynistic trolls, including infamous alt-right personality Milo Yiannopoulos, which resulted in his permanent ban from Twitter.\u00a0Following this online harassment campaign, Jones received\u00a0an outpouring\u00a0of support from her fans and other celebrities. In particular, Jones received a lot of enthusiasm\u00a0for her live tweets of the 2016 Summer Olympics, which actually led to her being invited to Rio De Janeiro to join NBC briefly as a commentator. Other popular shows she\u2019s live-tweeted include <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/game-of-thrones-three-spin-offs-hbo\/\">HBO\u2019s epic fantasy series <em>Game of Thrones<\/em><\/a><em>,\u00a0<\/em>the<em>\u00a0<\/em>competitive reality\u00a0show\u00a0<em>RuPaul&#8217;s Drag Race,\u00a0<\/em>and more recently the new CBS show\u00a0<em>The\u00a0<\/em><em>Equalizer\u00a0<\/em>starring\u00a0Queen Latifah.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Lesdoggg\/status\/1373950996922044423\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jones\u2019 latest viral live tweet endeavor comes in the form of <em>Zack Snyder\u2019s Justice League,\u00a0<\/em>which was finally released on HBO Max last week after a long and arduous journey. So far, Snyder\u2019s version of the film\u00a0has been met with generally positive reviews, with most fans and critics agreeing that it is, at the very least, vastly superior to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/justice-league-synder-cut-best-movie-comparison\/\">the\u00a02017\u00a0theatrical release of<em> Justice League<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Jones covered\u00a0<em>Zack Snyder&#8217;s Justice League<\/em> in great detail and you can view the entire\u00a0Twitter thread on her personal account. Along with Jones\u2018 many hilarious and astute\u00a0observations, she also seems to agree with criticisms\u00a0regarding the film&#8217;s extraordinarily\u00a0long run-time, captioning her tweets with\u00a0the hashtag #<em>longassmovie.\u00a0<\/em>Other highlights of Jones\u2019 Twitter thread include sexualizing the movie&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/justice-league-steppenwolf-armor-new-look\/\">main antagonist Steppenwolf<\/a> and pointing out the absurdity of burying Superman\u2019s body using regular burial methods.<\/p>\n<p>Jones is just one of many who enthusiastically expressed their opinion regarding <em>Zack Snyder&#8217;s Justice League<\/em> online.
