These were pointed out <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Kheyehm1\/status\/1375208866909143043?s=19\"  rel=\"noopener\">on Twitter by user Kheyehm1<\/a>, who showed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=D6lXVn12vz4&amp;t=755s\"  rel=\"noopener\">a video from Balan Wonderworld&rsquo;s final boss battle<\/a>, which featured flashing images that pose a risk with those susceptible to seizures.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Please ensure that you install the day one Patch before playing,&rdquo; the Balan Wonderworld Twitter account wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We have received reports of a photo-sensitive epilepsy risk from a potential flashing bug if playing the game un-patched.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The day one patch prevents this issue as well as enhances the overall play experience.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Balan Wonderworld launched today (March 26) for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X\/S and Switch. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2021\/01\/19\/balan-wonderland-demo-january-28\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">A demo for the game rolled out in January<\/a>, with publisher Square Enix after saying that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2021\/03\/15\/balan-wonderworld-huge-day-one-patch-demo\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">it was releasing a sizeable day one patch<\/a> to address a lot of the negative feedback and criticism this slice of the RPG received.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, tweaks included changes to the game&rsquo;s controls, camera movement and difficulty, but also seems to address seizure-inducing content too.<\/p>\n<p>Balan Wonderworld isn&rsquo;t the only game in recent memory to pose a risk to those who suffer from seizures. In December 2020, CD Projekt Red&rsquo;s blockbuster <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/12\/08\/cyberpunk-2077-epileptic-seizures\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Cyberpunk 2077 was revealed to feature sections that could trigger seizures<\/a> &ndash; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/12\/12\/cyberpunk-2077-braindance-epilepsy-patch\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">something the studio fixed subsequently<\/a>.
