Despite an already\u00a0full line-up of exciting projects to be released over the next few years, Marvel Studios is still looking for more stories to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/strong><\/em><\/a> with. Now that\u00a0WandaVision\u00a0<\/em>has established the multiverse concept, the company has been on a seemingly relentless hunt for new characters to add to the ever-growing franchise. This year, Marvel fans can be excited for the arrival of newcomers like Shang-Chi and the Eternals to the MCU, as well as the eventual debut of beloved teams like the X-Men and Fantastic Four, which are now in their rightful home. But could the Young Avengers be coming down the line as well?<\/p>\n

The Young Avengers are the iconic team of superhero teens from the comics who all have connections to the original Avengers. Although there is already so much going on in the MCU at the moment, fans have been persistent in questioning whether the Young Avengers’ MCU arrival<\/a> is, at all, a possibility. Well, according to a recent statement by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, it looks like we have a better idea of that likelihood.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Feige was asked if he thought there was a chance that the Young Avengers would join the MCU at some point in the future<\/a>. While his answer was relatively vague, he did not explicitly rule out the possibility. After stating that anything in the comics serves as “inspiration” and a “guide point,” Feige said that\u00a0they are working to introduce\u00a0“all sorts of new types of characters,” with the potential being endless. In other words, the Young Avengers (and really, any other characters or groups from the comics) are fair game.<\/p>\n

Aside from Feige’s statement, there are many signs that hint the Young Avengers\u00a0will be assembled in the future. Several Phase 4 works are set to introduce characters from the Young Avengers, including Hawkeye’s\u00a0<\/em>Kate Bishop, the archer protege,\u00a0Ironheart<\/em>‘s Riri Williams<\/a> in her own version of the Iron Man suit,\u00a0The Multiverse of Madness’<\/em> America Chavez, the female answer to Captain America, and\u00a0Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania<\/em>‘s Cassie Lang, the daughter of Scott Lang who goes on to become Stature.<\/p>\n

Additionally,\u00a0WandaVision<\/em>\u00a0recently introduced\u00a0Wanda Maximoff’s sons Billy and Tommy<\/a>, who eventually become Wiccan and Speed. Considering Marvel typically does everything for a reason, it’s hard to believe that the studio would introduce these characters without giving them a bigger purpose.<\/p>\n

Of course, there’s still a ways to go before the Young Avengers might make their debut in the MCU. Currently, Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em>, the company’s most recent release, is preoccupied with following the adventures of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes.<\/p>\n
