This past week featured the 10th anniversary of\u00a0LEGO Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars<\/em>, but LEGO video game fans were hoping for news regarding a different game. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga<\/em><\/strong> was announced at E3 2019 during a Microsoft press conference, but lately news has been hard to come by. Microsoft hosted a special ID@Xbox event<\/a>\u00a0this week and LEGO fans were hopeful, but no news came through. Since then, rumors have ignited all the more.<\/p>\n

There is no official news regarding the status of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga<\/em><\/a> to share. Publisher Warner Bros. has not said anything about the game, nor has it indicated more information is coming soon. However, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga<\/em>\u00a0currently has a “Spring 2021” release window listed on the official Star Wars website, which is likely the main driver for current fan speculation.<\/p>\n

With a spring release date in mind, fans seem to have fixated on the possibility of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga<\/em> launching on May 4. May 4 is also known as Star Wars\u00a0Day<\/a> due to\u00a0its audible similarity with the phrase “May the force,” so there’s likely to be a lot of movie, TV, and gaming news that day. Fans figure Warner Bros. will announce more information in the weeks ahead of it, but that has yet to be true.<\/p>\n

The other big rumor that’s swirling around the LEGO Star Wars<\/em> fandom is a supposed promotional Luke Skywalker minifig<\/a> with a blue upper lip from drinking blue milk to be included in the Deluxe Edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga<\/em>. As such, its appearance in the figure resellers market has some believing that the Deluxe Edition of the game must be available, or will be soon. The source of the figure, or whether it’s official, hasn’t been verified.<\/p>\n

Fans are likely correct about one thing: If LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga<\/em> was going to release soon<\/a>, then fans likely should\u00a0have gotten more information about it by now. That suggests\u00a0the game is at least a couple of months away, if it hasn’t been delayed until later this year.<\/p>\n

Fans are also likely correct to look toward May 4 for more information, at least compared to Xbox’s indie game showcase. May 4 may not be launch day for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga<\/em>, but it would be a great place to reveal more information or even a release date. Like Elden Ring<\/em> fans<\/a>, Star Wars<\/em> fans will just have to be patient.<\/p>\n
