Despite the short runtime, <em>James Bond 007: The Duel<\/em> was well-received by fans and critics and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smspower.org\/Scans\/SegaMasterForce-Magazine-Issue2?gallerypage=11\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">received an 84% score from the former publication Sega Master Force<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">16 <\/span>007: Licence to Kill &#8211; 48 Minutes<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/007-license-to-kill.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p><em>007: Licence to Kill\u00a0<\/em>ranks ahead of\u00a0<em>James Bond 007: The Duel<\/em> by a whopping three minutes. Instead, players are simply tasked with completing mission objectives, utilizing the speed and weaponry of the cars.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">13 <\/span>James Bond 007 &#8211; 4 Hours<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static0.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/james-bond-007.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p>Nintendo&#8217;s action-adventure game\u00a0<em>James Bond 007\u00a0<\/em>was developed by\u00a0Saffire and initially hit stores back in 1998. The Game Boy adventure features 11 different levels, where players are usually tasked with fighting through or sneaking past enemies. However, trying to stay alive isn&#8217;t the only thing that<em>\u00a0James Bond 007\u00a0<\/em>consists of, as players can also indulge in gambling games such as Blackjack.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">12 <\/span>GoldenEye: Rogue Agent &#8211; 5 Hours<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/rouge-agent.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p><em>GoldenEye: Rogue Agent\u00a0<\/em>is the first of nine games on this list that fall between the five and seven-hour mark. Oddly enough, the game has no relation to the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/goldeneye\/\">GoldenEye<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>film;\u00a0GoldenEye is instead\u00a0a codename given to the protagonist, who isn&#8217;t James Bond, after being\u00a0fitted with a literal golden-eye. The golden-eye gives the player various skills, such as the ability to see through walls.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">11 <\/span>James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire &#8211; 5.5 Hours<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static3.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/agent-under-fire.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p>There was a considerable amount of buzz around\u00a0<em>James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire\u00a0<\/em>prior to its 2001 release, as the game was the franchise&#8217;s first to appear on the PlayStation 2. In\u00a0<em>Tomorrow Never Dies<\/em>&#8216; case, it was because the game was Electronic Arts&#8217; first\u00a0<em>James Bond\u00a0<\/em>title since acquiring the license. The industry giants opted against trying to recreate the magic of the N64&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/goldeneye\/\"><em>GoldenEye<\/em>\u00a0<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/goldeneye\/\">007<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and instead made the decisive choice of having a third-person perspective.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">9 <\/span>James Bond 007: Blood Stone &#8211; 6 Hours<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static3.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/blood-stone.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p><em>Blood Stone\u00a0<\/em>is the most recent\u00a0<em>J<\/em><em>ames Bond\u00a0<\/em>game to release, aside from the\u00a0<em>GoldenEye 007: Reloaded <\/em>port and\u00a0the disastrous\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/007%20legends\/\">007 Legends<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>Consequently,<em> Blood Stone\u00a0<\/em>will be the first choice of many players who are looking for a modern\u00a0Bond<em>\u00a0<\/em>game to play while waiting for\u00a0<em>Project 007. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>As long as such people are able to find the game for a good price, they likely won&#8217;t be disappointed with\u00a0<em>Blood Stone\u00a0<\/em>as it provides a solid 6-hour adventure. The game won&#8217;t blow anyone away, though it does remain engaging and\u00a0entertaining throughout its short runtime.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">8 <\/span>Quantum of Solace &#8211; 6 Hours<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/quantum-of-solace.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p><em>Quantum of Solace\u00a0<\/em>was released at the end of 2008, which wasn&#8217;t a great time for <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/forgotten-video-game-genres\/\">movie tie-in games<\/a>, as players had realized that such titles were often rushed due to their tight development schedules. To say that\u00a0<em>Quantum of Solace\u00a0<\/em>is an exception to the rule would be disingenuous, though it certainly doesn&#8217;t feel rushed, and its 6-hour campaign will be enjoyable for those who liked the corresponding film.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">7 <\/span>James Bond 007: Nightfire &#8211; 6.5 Hours<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static3.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/PS2-007-Nightfire-Sniping.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p>Of all the games that have tried to recapture the success of\u00a0<em>GoldenEye<\/em> <em>007\u00a0<\/em>(1997), many consider\u00a0<em>Nightfire\u00a0<\/em>to be the game that does it best.\u00a0<em>Nightfire\u00a0<\/em>finds a sweet spot between reinventing what worked about the classic N64 game while ensuring that it implements enough changes to differentiate it. Moreover, the game has one of the most enjoyable multiplayer player modes of the entire PlayStation 2 era, thanks to the game&#8217;s well-designed maps and the huge range of weapons and gadgets for players to use.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">6 <\/span>007 Legends &#8211; 6.5 Hours<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static3.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/007-legends.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p>From a game that does a great job of recapturing\u00a0<em>GoldenEye<\/em>&#8216;s magic to one that did it poorly. <em>007 Legends\u00a0<\/em>is one of the worst received games in the entire franchise, exemplified by its <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/great-games-low-metascores\/\">brutal Metascore<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metacritic.com\/game\/pc\/007-legends\">26 on PC<\/a>.
