Following\u00a0Bravely Default 2<\/strong><\/em>‘s full release, the soundtracks will be\u00a0made available on Spotify for fans to listen to on the go.<\/p>\n

Not to be confused with\u00a0Bravely Second: End Layer<\/em>,\u00a0Bravely Default 2\u00a0<\/em>released last month to positive receptions from fans. The original game, on the other hand, has gone down to be known as one of the best JRPGs of all time, earning a cult following of fans from the genre, especially in Japan. The music of\u00a0Bravely Default\u00a0<\/em>was composed by Revo, who was inspired by the music of\u00a0Final Fantasy<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0Dragon Quest<\/em>, and\u00a0the\u00a0SaGa\u00a0<\/em>games and decided to go with a nostalgic feel for the game. Revo returned to compose\u00a0Bravely Default 2<\/em>‘s music as well.<\/p>\n

Though Bravely Second<\/em>‘s soundtrack was already previously made available on Spotify,\u00a0fans of the music of the other\u00a0Bravely Default\u00a0<\/em>games<\/a> can listen to albums\u00a0on the free music app starting on March 31.<\/p>\n

The OST for each game is quite lengthy.\u00a0Bravely Default<\/em>‘s soundtrack consists of 46 songs while Bravely\u00a0Default 2<\/a><\/em>‘s contains 62 songs.\u00a0End Layer\u00a0<\/em>also contains 45 songs, meaning that, altogether, the soundtrack could be great for long study sessions or atmospheric background music for\u00a0Dungeons and Dragons\u00a0<\/em>games.<\/p>\n

When not composing Square Enix’s music, Revo is a member of the Japanese “fantasy band” Sound Horizon, whose members RIKKI and Joelle have also contributed to the\u00a0Final Fantasy\u00a0<\/em>series’ soundtracks. RIKKI is best known for performing\u00a0the theme song for\u00a0Final Fantasy 10<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>while Joelle contributed to\u00a0Bravely Default<\/em>‘s vocals and several tracks on\u00a0Final Fantasy 13-2<\/em>‘s OST.<\/p>\n

Bravely Default 2<\/strong> <\/em>is out now for the Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n
