There are a number of ways to reach the credits in\u00a0The Binding of Isaac: Repentance<\/strong><\/em>, but there is only one\u00a0path that leads to the true ending. That path is filled with several difficult battles and numerous mysteries to solve, and indeed players may find themselves lost at various points.\u00a0It is with that in mind that this guide is being written, and fans that read on should be able to reach the final boss and see the true ending in\u00a0The Binding of Isaac: Repentance<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first step to getting the true ending in this new DLC is to\u00a0collect Knife Piece 1 and 2 in order to assemble the Knife. For the uninitiated the\u00a0first Knife Piece in\u00a0The Binding of Isaac: Repentance<\/em><\/a> is obtained by walking into a blue-grey flame on Downpour\/Dross 2, turning into the Lost, and entering the mirror on the floor.\u00a0The second\u00a0Knife Piece, on the other hand, is accessed by pressing all of the yellow buttons in\u00a0Mines\/Ashpit 2 and riding the\u00a0nearby minecart.<\/p>\n

With the Knife in hand, players must now reach the red door in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance<\/em><\/a>, which\u00a0appears at the end\u00a0Mausoleum\/Gehenna 2. Hitting that door with the Knife will cause it to open, and fans will face another boss battle on the other side. After defeating this foe, players should exit the room, fall into the hole to enter the Corpse floor, and clear all the way to the end to reach the credits.<\/p>\n

At this point, fans will receive indication that a Strange Door has appeared in the Depths, and the next step is to pass through it. To enter the Strange Door in\u00a0The Binding of Isaac: Repentance<\/em><\/a>, players will need to use The Polaroid or The Negative that comes from defeating Mom. Notably, fans will need The Fool card to be able to teleport when they have picked up The Polaroid or The Negative, and one can be found by blowing up the marked skull that always appears in Depths 2.<\/p>\n
