Luckily, there’s a way to combine both those activities: locating oculi. These rare items are scattered about the land. They can be used to donate to statues, which in return will give players special items and upgrade. These magical items are rare and beautiful<\/a>, and incredibly useful for players wanting to grow in power.<\/p>\n

Oculi\u00a0gives the player incentive to explore every nook and cranny across the game, while rewarding players with special upgrades. These upgrades are important for\u00a0leveling up\u00a0characters\u00a0as well as their weapons and items.<\/p>\n

There are seven elements in\u00a0Genshin Impact<\/em>: Anemo, Geo, Cryo, Hydro, Pyro, Electro, and Dendro. Each element has its very own type of oculi, but only two are available for players at the moment. Anemoculus and geoculus are the respective oculi for the elements Anemo and Geo.<\/p>\n

The associated lands for these elements are Mondstadt for Anemo and Liyue for Geo. Players will find many elemental-related characters and enemies in these lands. This means that\u00a0donating anemoculi to statues of the seven in Mondstadt is like sending a prayer to Barbatos. There are only a few spread out around Mondstadt, so be sure to find them all to fully feel the power of Anemo.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>The Geo Oculi Are Tributes To Morax<\/h2>\n

Geoculi, the Geo oculi, are scattered around the nation of Liyue for players to find. They harness the power of the Geo element in Liyue because the Geo archon, Morax, rules over this land.<\/p>\n

In Liyue, the statues of the seven are all based on Morax, so players should be sure to pay their respects when donating geoculi. Just like the statues in Mondstadt, there are only so many to be found around Liyue. Discover them all to truly unleash the element of Geo.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Resonance Stones Act An Elemental Compass\u2026<\/h2>\n

Out of luck finding more oculi? Resonance stones are here to help! Resonance stones are craftable items that help players locate oculi. There is one for Anemo and one for Geo so far, and they’re a helpful tool for players hunting down oculi to upgrade statues to their full potential. Use this tracking device to make finding oculi as easy as possible.<\/p>\n

Resonance stones can only be used once, so it’s wise for players to craft multiple at a time if they’re going out oculi hunting. If players are hoping to find more than one oculi at a time,\u00a0it’s incredibly useful to have a bunch at the ready.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>\u2026But For Reputable Heroes Only<\/h2>\n

Learning the recipe to craft resonance stones is no easy task. Players must reach level 2 reputation in the oculi’s respective locations in order to receive the recipe. This won’t take players long if they build up friendships, complete quests, and be the hero Mondstadt and Liyue need.<\/p>\n

The player has to be\u00a0a good hero in order to be rewarded with a resonance stone recipe. This will\u00a0help make finding oculi as easy as can be.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>There’s A Limited Supply Of Oculi<\/h2>\n

Unlike most items or even enemies in\u00a0Genshin Impact<\/em><\/a>, oculi do not respawn. Having limited number of oculi to\u00a0find in the world keeps the hunt interesting for players, and makes finding\u00a0them all the more special. There is also a maximum number of oculi that the player can donate to statues. Make sure to fully upgrade statues around Tevyat in order to make the most out of their powerful upgrades.<\/p>\n

There are 66 anemoculi to find in Mondstadt and 131 geoculi to hunt in Liyue. Find the oculi, donate them to statues, and watch the characters grow in strength.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>There’s One Of Each Oculi Left Over<\/h2>\n

After donating the maximum amount of anemoculi and geoculi to their respective statues, players will notice something peculiar. There is one leftover oculus for each element. Some players say this is for collector’s sake, while others theorize that this hints at something else down the line.<\/p>\n

Possibe theories include a special upgrade, or an item for maxing out all of the statues in Tevyat. The mystery has yet to be revealed. While players speculate the true meaning of the leftover oculi, they have plenty to wait for in the next big updates.<\/p>\n
