Over the weekend, it was reported that Sony Bend<\/strong>, the developers of Days Gone<\/strong>, pitched a sequel to Sony<\/strong> – but the publisher turned down a potential Days Gone 2<\/strong> before development began.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Instead of Days Gone 2, according to a Bloomberg report<\/a>, Sony Bend was tasked with producing a new Uncharted title, under supervision from Naughty Dog.<\/p>\n Seemingly in response to these claims, though, Days Gone director, Jeff Ross, took part in an interview with fellow Sony veteran David Jaffe. The Twisted Metal and original God of War designer directed the conversation with Ross towards the idea that Sony is maligning smaller games and shifting focus to the West.<\/a><\/p>\n Ross simply responded, “Never say never to anything, it’s just… maybe not right now.” So if you were mourning the loss of a potential Days Gone sequel, you can maybe take some solace in the idea that the series has not been lost forever.<\/p>\n
