After Apple and Samsung released their smart tag offerings, it looks as if other OEMs want to join the party. And according to a trademark filing on May 18, OnePlus might be the next in line. It has reportedly filed for the name “OnePlusTag”.<\/p>\n

Of course, this might not mean what we think it means but odds are it’s about a competitor to Apple’s AirTag and Samsung’s SmartTag.<\/p>\n

This might also be taken as a hint that OnePlus’ future devices would support Ultra Wideband (UWB) because the future smart tag won’t work with current OnePlus devices.<\/p>\n
