Alongside the unannounced project &ndash; which, again, will be a triple-A game from one of Ubisoft&rsquo;s biggest franchises &ndash; various other games will launch within this same window. As development progresses over the next few months, more accurate assessments can be made, while plans and release dates going forward will gradually gain more visibility.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Yves Guillemot says targets for this year remain on track. But that the coming months will provide more visibility on plans and release dates. <\/p>\n<p>Depending on the situation of COVID-19, the release of one of the five AAA titles could be postponed to beyond April 2021. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zRi03ttpVd\">pic.twitter.com\/zRi03ttpVd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Daniel Ahmad (@ZhugeEX) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ZhugeEX\/status\/1260967057799163906?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 14, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our initial targets for 2020-2021 remain in sight as we are currently benefiting from excellent momentum,&rdquo; said Guillemot, as documented in the screenshot above. &ldquo;However, the COVID-19 crisis calls for prudence, as numerous uncertainties have arisen &hellip; The coming months will provide more visibility on whether we can maintain our release plans.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Guillemot specifically mentions the possibility that Ubisoft could decide &ldquo;to postpone the release of a triple-A title to 2021-2022, if it ensures to maximize the long-term potential of [its] line-up.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In related news, Ubisoft has announced that it will host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/05\/11\/ubisoft-forward-digital-event-announcement\/\">its own digital game reveals<\/a> this July.
