Oh, and a hype soundtrack.<\/p>\n<h2>Forza Horizon 5 platforms<\/h2>\n<p>Forza Horizon 5 runs on <b>Xbox One<\/b>, <b>Xbox Series X|S<\/b>, and <b>PC<\/b>. It&rsquo;s also available for Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2021\/06\/14\/forza-horizon-5-60fps-performance-mode-xbox-series-x-series-s\/\">recent FAQ<\/a>, the game runs at 4K 30fps on Series X and 1080p 30fps on Series S. There&rsquo;s a special &ldquo;performance mode&rdquo; that boosts the framerate to 60fps, but they didn&rsquo;t specify the resolution. PC specs weren&rsquo;t confirmed, either.<\/p>\n<p>Forza Horizon 5 supports <b>cross-progression<\/b>, meaning save files carry over between Windows and Xbox. <b>Crossplay<\/b> also works across PC and console platforms.<\/p>\n<h2>Forza Horizon 5 editions<\/h2>\n<p>Forza Horizon 5 offers Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Editions. You <i>need<\/i> to wheel around the Mayan ruins to pass a story checkpoint.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s not just a racing sim or travel brochure, though. It can be a playful competition. Players can race against their friends in various courses and mini-games. The <b>Events Lab<\/b> enables players to build creative, wacky game modes from scratch with handpicked rules. Cars bulldozed bowling pins through a colorful arcade-themed course in one of the example custom modes.<\/p>\n<p>There&rsquo;s also an actual arcade mode called <b>Horizon Arcade<\/b>. One of the arcade modes challenged cars to bust as many multicolor pinatas as possible while touring through Mexican villages. Twelve mini-games in total mean surefire fun in these entertaining gauntlets.
