Even more casting choices have been revealed for Netflix’s upcoming\u00a0The Witcher\u00a0<\/em>prequel called\u00a0<\/a>Blood Origin<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>The latest additions bring\u00a0Lord of the Rings\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0The Nest\u00a0<\/em>talent into the mix, teasing a small inside look into what’s next with the upcoming series.\u00a0<\/p>\n The latest cast members to be revealed, courtesy of Deadline<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>are Lenny Henry (Lord of the Rings\u00a0<\/em>series), Nathaniel Curtis (It’s a Sin<\/em>), Dylan Moran (Black Books<\/em>), Zach Wyatt (Urban Myths<\/em>),\u00a0Huw Novelli (The Capture<\/em>), Jacob Collins-Levy (Young Wallander<\/em>), Francesca Mills (Harlots<\/em>), Amy Murray,\u00a0<\/span>and Mirren Mack (The Nest<\/em>). These\u00a0new additions will be joining Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians<\/i>), Laurence O’Fuarain (Vikings<\/i>), and Sophia Brown (Marcella<\/em>). Declan de Barra is leading the prequel alongside Netflix’s The Witcher\u00a0<\/em>showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Witcher: Blood Origin<\/em>\u00a0is a six-part live-action spinoff show from the mainstay live-action take that came before it and takes place 1,200 years before Geralt’s reign.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAs a lifelong fan of fantasy, I am beyond excited to tell the story The Witcher: Blood Origin,\u201d said executive producer Declan de Barra when the prequel was first revealed<\/a>. \u201cA question has been burning in my mind ever since I first read The Witcher books \u2013 What was the Elven world really like before the cataclysmic arrival of the humans?
