Today\u2019s Pok\u00e9mon Presents presentation put a big spotlight on Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl<\/a>, the enhanced remakes of the fourth generation games coming to Switch. Whether you\u2019re exploring the Sinnoh region for the first time or you know it like the back of your hand, a bevy of new features aims to make the adventure deeper than ever.<\/p>\n

The Grand Underground is a unique area chock full of special activities. You can dig up fossils and create secret bases that you can decorate by placing various Pok\u00e9mon statues. There are also Pok\u00e9mon hideaways, new areas that feature Pok\u00e9mon roaming freely, and the monsters you encounter change depending on which statues you place in your underground HQ. Some Pok\u00e9mon can only be found in the hideaway, meaning you\u2019ll want to visit it frequently if you plan on completing your Pokedex.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Capsule decoration allows you to place stickers on Pok\u00e9balls, adding a special effect when Pok\u00e9mon are summoned, such as confetti. You can also change up your character\u2019s appearance<\/a> by donning fashionable outfits. <\/p>\n

Want to see your Pok\u00e9mon bust a groove? Super Contest Shows are rhythm mini-games where Pok\u00e9mon must dance to the beat for a live audience. Finally, the Union Room is where you\u2019ll head to battle and trade with other players in online multiplayer. <\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl launch November 19 for Switch. There\u2019s also a Dialga and Palkia-themed Switch Lite<\/a> launching on November 5. <\/p>\n
