Color OS is Oppo\u2019s heavily customized skin layer over Android. The OS is skinned on Oppo smartphones all over the world, and OnePlus devices have already dropped Hydrogen OS in favor of Color OS, though only in China.<\/p>\n

Version 12 of Color OS (based on Android 12) has been in the beta phase for the past few months, but the OS will be receiving its final public release on September 13, this is indirectly confirmed through Oppo\u2019s smart assistant Breeno and the screenshot was posted to Weibo.<\/p>\n
