More specifically, the platform holder revealed that we&rsquo;re getting closer to finding out more about the games coming to its next-gen platform.<\/p>\n<p>In the briefing, attended by Bloomberg&rsquo;s Takashi Mochizuki, Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida said, &ldquo;We will soon be announcing a strong lineup of PS5 games.&rdquo; Yoshida didn&rsquo;t provide any other comments, or really dig deep into details.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it&rsquo;s good to hear that Sony <em>is<\/em> working on bringing us some news soon. So far, the Japanese company preferred silence, compared to competitor Xbox, which has been more than happy to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2019\/12\/13\/xbox-series-x-reveal-holiday-2020\/\" >show off the box<\/a>, confirm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/03\/16\/xbox-series-x-specs\/\" >specs early<\/a>, and more recently, reveal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/05\/07\/inside-xbox-series-x-games-reveal\/\" >some of the third-party games coming to Xbox Series X<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KasVMOMWM-4\" alt=\"Please accept cookies to see this iframe.\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Xbox has also been more open about its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/05\/15\/halo-infinite-confirmed-xbox-series-x-reveal-july\/\" >future plans<\/a>, which gives fans something to look forward to and makes them feel included, whereas Sony&rsquo;s strategy for PS5 is a black box right now.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Sony is working on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/05\/18\/sony-next-gen-ps5-games-reveal-rumour\/\" >a big reveal event for early June<\/a>.
