Sony has announced that 2018\u2019s critically-acclaimed God of War will be coming to PC on January 14, 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Sony Santa Monica\u2019s God of War, which is currently exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, joins PlayStation\u2019s ever-growing lineup of previously console-exclusive titles coming to PC. PlayStation\u2019s PC support started with <\/span><\/span>Horizon Zero Dawn<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> in 2020 followed by <\/span><\/span>Death Stranding<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>. Then, earlier this year, <\/span><\/span>Days Gone was released on PC<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0with news that even more PlayStation games would be making the jump.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Click here to watch embedded media<\/a><\/p>\n PlayStation released a <\/span><\/span>PC announce trailer<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> to reveal today\u2019s news and if you\u2019ve played through God of War already, it basically hits on most of the game’s major beats. With that said, if you haven\u2019t yet experienced it and were waiting to do so on PC, January is your month. However, if that’s you, we strongly recommend skipping this PC announce trailer as it shows a lot of stuff you probably don\u2019t want to see.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n You can pre-purchase God of War on Steam today for $49.99. That <\/span><\/span>Steam page<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> reveals a lot of details about this PC port, too.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cStriking visuals enhanced on PC,\u201d the Steam page reads. \u201cEnjoy true 4K resolution, on supported devices, [MU1] with unlocked framerates for peak performance. Dial in your settings via a wide range of graphical presets and options including higher resolution shadows, improved screen space reflections, the addition of GTAO and SSDO, and much more.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Steam page also states that God of War on PC will support Nvidia\u2019s Deep Learning Super Sampling to \u201cboost frame rates and generate beautiful, sharp images on select Nvidia GPUs.\u201d God of War will also feature support for both the PlayStation 4 Dualshock 4 controller and the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller, as well as other controllers.
