The co-op shooter about fighting off robots from space made a splash during last year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/the-game-awards-2021\/2021\/12\/09\/cooperative-shooter-arc-raiders-makes-its-gameplay-debut\" >Game Awards<\/a>. In a surprising twist, however, Embark announced months later it was delaying Arc Raiders to next year to focus on launching <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2022\/08\/09\/embark-studios-delays-arc-raiders-to-2023-to-focus-on-team-shooter-project-discovery\" >another shooter project first<\/a>. As such, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk will skate to release <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ReptileGames\/status\/1564983376964190214?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet\" >sometime next summer<\/a>. So much so that developer\u00a0KeokeN Interactive wants to spend more time preparing Mars for players&#8217; arrival. The publisher nabbed exclusive rights to the Masters Tournament and the game even includes the Ladies Professional Golf Association. Unfortunately, we don&#8217;t know much more about the game besides a few courses and events, and\u00a0EA has only offered vague timeframes for launch. Square Enix states the game is essentially complete and is in the final polishing phase and that the delay was a &#8220;strategic decision.&#8221; October has quickly become crowded with big releases, so perhaps Square wants to pluck Forspoken from the pack so it can garner more attention in the traditionally lighter month of January. It was supposed to drop this year, but working in the\u00a0pandemic has forced the small developer KO-OP\u00a0to give the game some extra TLC, including rewriting\u00a0the story from scratch. After all, developer Avalanche had kept pretty quiet\u00a0about\u00a0the open-world wizarding game since its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2022\/03\/17\/hogwarts-legacy-gameplay-and-details-revealed-at-sony-state-of-play\" >first gameplay showcase<\/a> in March. It confirmed these fears by breaking its silence to finally announce a\u00a0release date for Hogwarts Legacy: February 10. Unfortunately, Avalanche later changed gears to a more staggered release. Hogwarts Legacy will indeed hit that February date for current-gen and PC, but last-gen console players will have to wait until April 4. Developer Star Theory isn&#8217;t shy about taking as much time as possible to make sure the space sim is as &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2022\/05\/16\/kerbal-space-program-2-will-now-blast-off-in-early-2023\" >breathtaking<\/a>&#8221; as fans expect. Though it&#8217;s a bummer to have stay grounded for several months longer, who would want to deny\u00a0those\u00a0adorable Kerbals a\u00a0smooth liftoff? While we didn&#8217;t\u00a0get the Zelda vs Elden Ring Game of the Year throwdown some gamers salivated over this year, we\u2019ve become increasingly conditioned to waiting around for this game. Two years is plenty of time to forget about Pragmata for a while, but in 2021\u00a0Capcom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/11\/18\/pragmata-delayed-to-2023-new-video-and-artwork-released-by-capcom\" >pushed the game<\/a> to 2023 before we even got married to the idea of it arriving this year. However, it&#8217;s still designed to be enjoyed as\u00a0the story-driven single-player Arkane\u00a0experience that fans love.\u00a0That said, we\u2019re itching to see if and how the studio applies the immersive sim elements from Dishonored or Deathloop to a\u00a0multiplayer format.
