At the start of their panel, though, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/finalfantasyxvi\/status\/1698133463323611566?s=20\" >FFXVI producer Naoki Yoshida announced via video<\/a> that a free update is available for the game right now, alongside word the game is getting two paid DLCs. Yoshida also revealed that the PC version of FFXVI is currently being developed at Square Enix.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The highlights of the free update, which you can download right now, include alternate outfits for some of the main characters like Clive, Jill, and Torgal, and a transmog ability for weapons that allows you to change the appearance of Clive\u2019s sword while keeping the stats of your currently equipped weapon. Other changes are coming to the game in Patch 1.10, too, including quality-of-life changes like Arcade Mode adjustments, new controller layouts, additional System menu settings, and several fixes to issues within the game.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameBorder=\"0\"  allow=\"autoplay\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-qk4TDTo0-E\" width=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s a look at the new alternate outfits for Clive, Jill, and Torgal:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>      &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Yoshida also revealed that two paid DLCs are coming to FFXVI.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[We\u2019ve] seen so many opinions and reactions from our community of Final Fantasy XVI players,&#8221;&nbsp;Yoshida says in the video. &#8220;But one thing that came through particularly strong was how people wanted to see more of Valisthea\u2019s story and spend more time with her inhabitants. To accommodate, the development team has started work on two installments of paid DLC.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no word on when to expect these DLCs, though.
