A sequel to the Sonic the Hedgehog<\/strong> movie is now in the development stage, Paramount Pictures and Sega Sammy have announced.<\/p>\n News of the sequel was confirmed yesterday by Variety<\/a>. <\/p>\n The sequel will bring back director Jeff Fowler and scriptwriters Pat Casey and Josh Miller. Casting has yet to be confirmed. <\/p>\n Sonic the Hedgehog was released in theaters earlier this year and went on to become one of the most successful video game movies<\/a> of all time.<\/p>\n For those of you who haven’t had a chance to see the film, it is available digitally and on DVD and Blu-Ray.
