Spider-Man: Miles Morales is not the fully-fledged sequel you may have thought it was.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/strong><\/a> was undoubtedly one of the bigger surprise reveals in the PS5 games event<\/a>, but Sony has now clarified some details that put a bit of a damper on the excitement.<\/p>\n Sony’s EVP head of European business, Simon Rutter, has revealed to The Telegraph<\/a> [paywall] (via VGC<\/a>) that Miles Morales is at once an expansion to the PS4 game, as well as a remaster of sorts that upgrades the original content.<\/p>\n “I guess you could call it an expansion and an enhancement to the previous game,” said Rutter.<\/p>\n “There’s a substantial Miles Morales component – which is the expansion element – but also within the game as well there’s been major enhancements to the game and the game engine, obviously deploying some of the major PlayStation 5 technology and features.”<\/p>\n
