Bethesda is handing out free copies of Quake 2 and Quake 3 through its launcher.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Quake 2<\/strong> and Quake 3<\/strong> are yours to claim through the Bethesda launcher. <\/p>\n

Each game will be free for 72 hours, and Quake 2 is free right now<\/strong> so hurry on that one. Quake 3 will be made available on August 17. <\/p>\n

The freebies are to celebrate money raised for charity during QuakeCon at Home which took place last weekend<\/a>. During the show, Quake was free to download.<\/p>\n

Over $30,000 was raised for charities such as Unicef, Direct Relief, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and The Trevor Project. There were also event-exclusive t-shirts available <\/a>with all proceeds going to Dallas Pets Alive, as well as Four Paws. <\/p>\n
