Nintendo has announced details for\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Home, including pricing and features for its two plans: Basic and Premium.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Home (via Switch and mobile versions)\u00a0lets you store your\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0in the cloud so you can transfer them between compatible games*, trade them, and more.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Home is coming some time in February.<\/p>\n

The free Basic version of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Home only lets you deposit 30\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon, place three\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon in the Wonder Box at once (for automated trades), and place one\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon in the GTS at once (for trade matching). Basic members can participate in but not host Room Trades, and cannot use the Judge function. Room trades accommodate 20 people at once while judging lets you see how strong they are.\u00a0The Basic version of Pok\u00e9mon Home appears to include direct trades between friends.<\/p>\n

The Premium plan, meanwhile, greatly escalates the number of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon you can deposit to up to 6,000, allows\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon to be moved from the 3DS via\u00a0the\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Bank, and more. Details \u2013 included pricing per month \u2013\u00a0are elucidated in the chart from Nintendo below (click to enlarge).<\/p>\n

It’s unknown at this time what happens to your\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon in\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Home if you cease your Premium subscription.<\/p>\n

In general, trading is done through the mobile version of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Home whereas moving\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon is done predominately with the Switch version of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Home. Both versions can move 3DS Pok\u00e9mon using\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Bank.<\/p>\n
