Rogue Company<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s major August Update may have been pushed to next week, but developer Hi-Rez Studios is giving fans a new limited-time mode to make up for the delay.<\/p>\n

In \u201cExtraction,\u201d Rogue Company<\/em><\/a>‘s new LTM, two teams drop in and fight for control of a single objective on the map. The mode is similar to Demolition, only instead of fighting to arm multiple sites, the two teams must fight over a single neutral site. Once one team activates the objective by hacking a terminal, they must hold off attacks from the enemy team until a timer runs out. However, the opposing team can still clutch a win by hacking into the terminal before the end of the countdown.<\/p>\n

To make the stakes higher, each round of extraction is single elimination. This paves another path to victory, as a team can also win by simply eliminating all of the opposing team. The single objective is sure to encourage intense close-combat gameplay, so it looks like fans have something worthwhile to hold themselves over until the August update releases.<\/p>\n
