Polish developer Techland has delayed Dying Light 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC) from its original spring 2020 release goal, and the studio says it will announce more on this front in “the coming months.”<\/p>\n

In a letter to the community, CEO\u00a0Pawe\u0142 Marchewka says Techland\u00a0needs “more development time to fulfill our vision,” noting that the game is the studio’s biggest to date.<\/p>\n

Given the size\u00a0of Dying Light 2 \u2013 the world\u00a0is four-times as large as the first \u2013 it’s understandable that more time might be needed to bring it to life. Player choice and the sheer number\u00a0of things to do are large components of the title as well, making it understandable that more time might be needed to bring it to life.<\/p>\n

Dying Light 2 is\u00a0among several\u00a0recently delayed games, including Cyberpunk 2077<\/a>, Final Fantasy VII Remake<\/a>, Iron Man VR<\/a>, and Avengers<\/a>.<\/p>\n
