Animal Farm<\/em><\/strong>, George Orwell’s 1945 renowned satire of Stalinist Russia and\u00a0totalitarian regimes, is being adapted for a video game releasing this fall. The game is being co-created\u00a0by publisher The Dairymen and\u00a0Nerial, the studio behind the\u00a0Reigns<\/em>\u00a0games, and will feature voice\u00a0actors like Abubakar Salim, who voiced Bayek in Assassin’s Creed: Origins<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Animal Farm<\/em>, which just celebrated its 75th anniversary yesterday, tells the story of a farm where the animals rise up against their drunken farm owner to create a better society for themselves. However, their aspirations are tainted by a group of pigs who become the decadent, totalitarian rulers of the farm and create a regime just as bad, if not worse, than the one the animals deposed. The 75th anniversary also marked the announcement of a video game, titled\u00a0Orwell’s Animal Farm<\/em>, based on the book. Being produced by Neria, the creators of monarchy as a Tinder app game\u00a0Reigns<\/em><\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0players will help the farm animals found a new Republic, guide its leaders, and determine which animals are the most equal of all.<\/p>\n
