However, the possibility of error was always present and acknowledged by the OP given that the product listed Xbox and PC as being available, but not PS4.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChelComms\/status\/1295071606658576387\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It looks like the retailer simply substituted PC for PS4 on accident, which comes as a disappointment to the people who responded to the tweet expressing excitement to play a new\u00a0<em>NHL<\/em> game on PC. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/gamestop-pandemic-sales-closing-digital-fail\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GameStop is struggling as a retailer<\/a> in the pandemic, and even well-off businesses make mistakes sometimes.<\/p>\n<p>Some comments on the original tweet expressed doubt that a PC release of\u00a0<em>NHL 21<\/em> could ever be popular, but most of the comments were in favor of playing on PC. Some people said they&#8217;d waited a long time to play a new\u00a0<em>NHL<\/em> game on PC, and a few people even said they only have a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/nhl-15\/\">console to play <em>NHL<\/em> games on<\/a>. Conversely, on the tweet denying the PC rumors, many comments were negative, and one person even said the possibility of a PC\u00a0<em>NHL<\/em> game was the most exciting news the\u00a0<em>NHL<\/em> franchise had come up with. Many people were confused and frustrated about why\u00a0EA has seemingly abandoned\u00a0<em>NHL<\/em>\u00a0PC releases.<\/p>\n<p><em>NHL 21<\/em> won&#8217;t be available on Xbox Series X or PS5, either, which is a confusing decision for some, especially as the release date has been pushed from September to October. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/video-game-delays-2020\/\">Video game delays in the pandemic<\/a> are not a new issue, so while\u00a0<em>NHL 21<\/em>&#8216;s delay is frustrating to dedicated hockey fans, it&#8217;s not exactly shocking news.
