Amid the Switch titles highlighted during this morning\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/nintendo-indie-world-showcase-8-18-2020\/\">Nintendo Indie World Showcase<\/a>, there were quite a few that have been made available today, and this includes the charming-looking <strong><em>Takeshi and Hiroshi<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This indie RPG from Oink Games has probably flown under most people\u2019s radars, due to it being an <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/grindstone-update\/\">Apple Arcade<\/a> exclusive since last year, but now that it\u2019s on the Switch, a lot more players can now experience the game\u2019s mix of RPG gameplay and a story told through puppet-based stop-motion animation.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/zelda-like-oceanhorn-2-coming-nintendo-switch\/\">Zelda-Like Oceanhorn 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Takeshi and Hiroshi<\/em> places players in the role of Takeshi, a young aspiring game designer trying to create a game for his little brother Hiroshi, who\u2019s dealing with health issues that can leave him hospitalized. The main objective here is for players to balance Takeshi\u2019s game, a 2D turn-based fantasy RPG, in order to provide Hiroshi with a fun, but not too difficult, challenge. This is done by choosing which monsters appear during combat, a task that becomes more challenging as the difficulty gradually rises.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MmtU4vduKtk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the gameplay is in service of leading players through the brothers\u2019 lives, following Takeshi\u2019s struggles with game design and Hiroshi\u2019s struggles with his health.
