Just last week we learned that\u00a0Vampire: The Masquerade \u2013 Bloodlines 2 would be delayed into 2021<\/a>, but that’s not the only big change happening on the sequel to the cult classic. Today, Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs announced some organizational changes.<\/p>\n

In what was a joint decision between the leadership at Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive, lead narrative designer Brian Mitsoda and creative director\u00a0Ka\u2019ai Cluney are no longer working on the project at Hardsuit Labs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“We appreciate, and value, the contributions of Brian and Ka\u2019ai, which were instrumental in establishing the game’s storyline and dark tone and have helped to ensure that we are making a true successor to the iconic Bloodlines. We wish them both the best in their future endeavors,” Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive wrote in a statement.<\/p>\n

Alexandre Mandryka, who has worked on some popular Ubisoft franchises,\u00a0has been brought in as a creative consultant to help the game in the final stages of development. He will\u00a0fulfill the responsibilities of the creative director role at this time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Alexandre has been in the industry for more than 20 years and has worked on iconic franchises such as Assassin\u2019s Creed, Warhammer 40,000, Far Cry, and more. With a long history of shipping excellent franchises, we are excited with what Alexandre brings to the game and the World of Darkness.”<\/p>\n

The announcement ended by reinforcing that the changes to the team are “to bring you the best possible\u00a0Vampire: The Masquerade game.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
