However, players have noticed a lot of issues, such as the return of a game-breaking revive bug and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-rampart-game-crash-bug\/\">glitches involving Rampart&#8217;s Amped Cover<\/a>. Respawn Entertainment has let its users\u00a0know the development team is\u00a0aware of these issues, and today it\u00a0put out a patch to try and address them.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0August 20 update patch notes primarily address issues with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/apex-legends-season-6-rampart-character-guide\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Apex Legends<\/em>&#8216; newest character Rampart<\/a>, including a client error involving her Amped Wall ability in &#8220;softened gore locales,&#8221; and server errors that result\u00a0in disconnection when players use\u00a0her Amped Wall. Rampart&#8217;s turret has also caused problems, such as Bloodhound and Lifeline getting &#8220;a stretched neck&#8221; when using the device if\u00a0certain skins are equipped. The team is still working on a fix for Lifeline&#8217;s Guardian Angel skin in particular.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-season-6-revive-bug\/\">Apex Legends Game Breaking Revive Bug Returns In Season 6<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Respawn Entertainment is also releasing a playlist update that will rebalance <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-best-weapons-season-6-ranked\/\">Devotion, one of the strongest weapons in Season 6<\/a>, by lowering damage and increasing recoil, as well as lowering its spawn rate alongside the Turbocharger hop-up attachment. Spawn rates for golden items; including helms, backpacks, and incap shields; are also being reduced, and more tweaks are being looked into for\u00a0&#8220;the next few weeks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PlayApex\/status\/1296524023958888448?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As problematic as Rampart has been, given the near-immediate changes Respawn is implementing, she is not the only new thing added to the game in Season 6. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-season-6-crafting-guide\/\"><em>Apex Legends<\/em> also added a crafting system<\/a> that allows players to create their own weapons, healing items, and gear using scattered materials across an\u00a0updated World&#8217;s Edge map with new buildings, open train tunnels, and more.<\/p>\n<p>There will no doubt be additional\u00a0changes coming to the game over the course of its current season, and a new map may be one of them. A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-tropic-island-map-leak\/\">&#8220;Tropic Island&#8221;\u00a0<em>Apex Legends<\/em> map has been leaked<\/a>\u00a0through the game&#8217;s code, though it&#8217;s hard to know whether this will be\u00a0an official part of the experience\u00a0until the developers make an announcement.<\/p>\n<p>New weapons have also been leaked by dataminers, though the current Battle Pass primarily focuses on new skins, banners, weapon charms, and holo-sprays.
