Though elements from the fight may find their way into the final cut of\u00a0\u00a0<em>Captain Marvel 2, <\/em>it&#8217;s highly unlikely this exact sequence will end up in the movie. What this video does is show what a battle scene in a Captain Marvel movie would look like.\u00a0A lot of blockbuster movies shoot some proof-of-concept footage to not only get a handle on a particularly complex sequence but to see if that concept works on screen. Edgar Wright has included a lot of concept footage as extras on the DVD and blu ray releases of his films.\u00a0<em>The World&#8217;s End<\/em> in particular shows how one early battle came together with stunt performers wearing numbers to make sure the action is clear.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CD_fvZ5gqWx\/\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, <em>Captain Marvel 2<\/em> is slated to release in 2022. No details are known besides Brie Larson returning as Carol Danvers with a script by Megan McDonnell, staff writer on the upcoming Disney+ series <em>Wandavision<\/em>. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/captain-marvel-2-gains-candymans-nia-dacosta-director\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marvel recently confirmed <em>Captain Marvel 2<\/em> will be directed by Nia Decosta<\/a>, fresh from the Jordan Peele produced <em>Candyman<\/em> reboot.
