The teaser for the upcoming season all but confirms\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-season-4-marvel-theme-leak\/\">HypeX&#8217;s earlier claims that there will be a focus around Thor<\/a>, with his hammer Mjolnir also being included as a cosmetic item.<\/p>\n<p>The official Twitter account for <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a> tweeted a short teaser\u00a0video confirming that the new season will begin soon in a few days on August 27 and that it will be Marvel-themed. The teaser depicts a figure resembling Thor,\u00a0alongside the emoji caption of a hammer and a lightning bolt.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"related-single\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-apres-ski-dance-floor\/\"><strong>Fortnite: Where to Dance on Apres Ski&#8217;s Dance Floor<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>With\u00a0the Asgardian god of thunder&#8217;s\u00a0inclusion being\u00a0almost reality at this point, there is still the matter of previous speculation surrounding what other Marvel additions will come with the new season. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-marvel-thor-galactus\/\">Prior leaks suggest that Galactus will be involved<\/a> in an antagonistic role though whether this is the definite case will have to wait until August 27.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FortniteGame\/status\/1296809282558517248\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Further leaks from <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-adding-wolverine-skin\/\">notable leaker and dataminer HypeX also point towards Wolverine<\/a> being part of Season 4. At this point, players will have to wait just a few more days for everything to come together in a concrete fashion. There is always great anticipation from players for every new season of\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> in which there are changes to the map, new gameplay elements, and new cosmetics. It will be interesting to see what changes will be made and how it will affect the current experience alongside future crossovers.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, this is not the first time that there has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/fortnite-every-dc-and-marvel-skin-so-far\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marvel-themed cosmetic content for\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>. However, Thor has not made any appearances\u00a0related to\u00a0the battle royale yet beyond the famous scene of him playing it in\u00a0<em>Avengers: Endgame<\/em>. Interestingly enough, images have leaked indicating that\u00a0Thor will resemble his portly form from\u00a0<em>Avengers: Endgame<\/em>, which should provide much amusement to those wanting to emulate his exploits hunting down NoobMaster69.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond this confirmation of Season 4&#8217;s theme, there is still ongoing speculation regarding what other new content will be included.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-midas-flopper\/\"><em>Fortnite\u00a0<\/em>YouTuber Tabor Hill<\/a> has claimed that there will be an item in Season 4 that will turn players&#8217; entire inventory gold.
