It also helps that they\u2019re now teasing what\u2019s to come in the next season.<\/p>\n<p>Like all major battle royale games these days, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fall-guys\/\"><em>Fall Guys<\/em><\/a> has tied all of its mini-games and cosmetic rewards in a seasonal structure. As such, it\u2019s been widely understood that the current opening season will give way to future seasons, and while Mediatonic has confirmed that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fall-guys-how-long-season\/\"><em>Fall Guys<\/em> Season 1 will end in a few weeks\u2019 time<\/a>, there haven\u2019t been any real clues as to what will come after, or what will be included.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fall-guys-update-valve-costumes-ps4-team-games\/\">Fall Guys Update Adds Valve Costumes to PS4 and Makes Quality of Life Changes<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>That will soon change, however, as it\u2019s been confirmed that the first glimpse of Season 2 will be taking place next week at <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/gamescom-august-2020-plans\/\">Gamescom<\/a>. \u201c<em>Fall Guys<\/em> is great and all&#8230;.but what if I told you there is <em>Fall Guys<\/em> Season 2!\u201d wrote host Geoff Keighley on Twitter this morning, where he announced that Mediatonic will have a \u201cworld premiere sneak peek\u201d at the digital event\u2019s Opening Night Live presentation this Thursday, August 27.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/geoffkeighley\/status\/1296835325281447937\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Keighley didn\u2019t offer any clue as to what will be revealed, but \u201csneak peek\u201d suggests that this will be just a teaser instead of a full reveal of what the next season will have to offer. Being that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/gamescom-mike-shinoda-2020\/\">Gamescom&#8217;s Opening Night Live<\/a> will essentially be an E3-esque press conference with several announcements from multiple companies, it would make sense for Mediatonic to save the details for later.<\/p>\n<p>A safe guess is that Season 2 will introduce more of the same content players have been receiving so far, like mini-games, costumes, and a Battle Pass. Of course, there\u2019s always the possibility that Mediatonic will have a few surprises in there as well. For all players know, they might <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/fall-guys-developers-delete-yellow-team-retweets\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">see the worst team in <em>Fall Guys<\/em> be deleted from the game<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In an increasingly-crowded genre, <em>Fall Guys<\/em> has shaken up the common ideas of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/battle-royale-games-fortnite-fall-guys-apex-warzone-good\/\">what makes a good battle royale<\/a>, making it one of the most distinct games gaining steam these days. It\u2019s going to be interesting to see where the game goes beyond Season 1, which, according to the in-game countdown, will wrap up on October 6.
