Not only has Tesla shown up in the strangest places, with CD Projekt Red even joking that\u00a0it might integrate\u00a0the company&#8217;s widely mocked <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/cyberpunk-2077-add-cybertruck-tesla-elon-musk\/\">Tesla Cybertruck into <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em><\/a>, but its also seen several hints towards games being fully playable within the car.<\/p>\n<p>The last few months alone have seen <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/elon-musk-teases-grand-theft-auto-tesla\/\">Musk tease the vehicle&#8217;s owners being able to play\u00a0<em>Grand Theft Auto\u00a0<\/em>on their dashboard<\/a>, while\u00a0a smaller version of\u00a0<em>Cuphead\u00a0<\/em>made its way into select Tesla models last September.\u00a0For those wondering how some of these games will possibly work in the car, a new viral video seems to have answered\u00a0their questions, with Twitter user Prolific filming\u00a0a driver playing a kart racer with the steering wheel of his Tesla.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tesla-gigatexas-factory\/\">Tesla Building &#8216;GigaTexas&#8217; to Build More Cybertrucks<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The hilarious footage has racked up 440,000 likes already and highlights just how strangely integrated gaming is with Tesla&#8217;s most advanced models. Looking at the in-built screen on the car&#8217;s dashboard, the driver plays the game by turning the steering wheel while the car is parked,\u00a0maneuvering\u00a0his character through wacky levels, and\u00a0pressing the touchpad to\u00a0use items. Evidently, the passengers are just as baffled at the crazy technology as the viewers are, with Prolific staring in shock as his friend casually plays Tesla&#8217;s version of\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mario-kart-tour-pirate-bowser-jr-king-bob-omb\/\">Mario Kart<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>with an actual steering wheel.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MXb3GsYiRuY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>For those wondering, the game in question is called\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/tesla-cars-racing-game\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beach Buggy Racing 2<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and was actually implemented to Tesla&#8217;s arcade last year, with the title originally releasing on mobile in 2018. It joins a number of games on the service, however, few have managed to integrate the car itself nearly as well as the kart racer, with most needing\u00a0the touch-pad or USB controllers to play. Of course, all those responding to Prolific&#8217;s video are pointing out the hilarious implications of getting too sucked into the game, with commenters\u00a0joking that the driver&#8217;s\u00a0going to accidentally\u00a0accelerate\u00a0into the parked car in front of him.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not surprising to see such an interesting idea ported to\u00a0Tesla cars, with Musk clearly investing a lot of time in the apps and games available on the company&#8217;s marketplace.
