Thanks to the anime, players of Nintendo<\/a>‘s hit\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0<\/em>franchise can see another protagonist take the same journey as they have on the road to the\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon League. Unlike the games however, Ash and Pikachu’s adventures often take them to new places. Unfortunately, a lot of these places end up being missing from the core game.<\/p>\n

Given the chance, Nintendo would hopefully include anime-exclusive areas in future installments. After all, players will feel awesome stepping into the same areas and locales Ash and his pals have been to.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>Evolution Mountain (Kanto)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Evolution remains one of the most popular features of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon<\/em>. However, perhaps more interesting are the notion of Evolution Stones, or ancient artifacts that help\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon jumpstart the evolution process<\/a>. It’s the Normal\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Eevee that sets itself apart from other species thanks to its ability to evolve into eight different\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon through Evolution Stones and other methods.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, for people in the anime world, they can evolve their own Eevee much easier thanks to Evolution Mountain. In “The Battling Eevee Brothers,” Ash and his pals visit the Mountain, known for its abundance of Evolution Stones. Wouldn’t it be cool if the next\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0<\/em>game had Evolution Mountain as a special limited zone for players to gather their favorite Evolution Stones?<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>Pok\u00e9lantis (Kanto)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Mythology and history fans will love Kanto’s\u00a0Pok\u00e9lantis. While this area only gets mentioned once in “Battling the Enemy Within,” it’s interesting to note how even the world of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon has its own version of lost civilizations. According to lore, Ho-Oh destroyed the city of\u00a0Pok\u00e9lantis as its King wanted to use Ho-Oh’s powers to rule the world. Moreover, the King ran off after sealing Ho-Oh in an orb within the city. Ash and his pals discovered the city’s ruins, which sparked a short adventure.<\/p>\n

It’s interesting to\u00a0wonder how future\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> games\u00a0could depict Atlantis considering how other games in the franchise redesign<\/a> myths, creatures, and concepts. New games can depict\u00a0Pok\u00e9lantis either as lost ruins the players discovers or even make it a location in a medieval-themed\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> game.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Team Rocket Academy (Kanto)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

What better way to learn about Team Rocket than to actually see how they’re taught their villainous ways? In the series, “Training Daze” finally gave players a view as to how Team Rocket members train. Apparently, Team Rocket Academy teaches members like Jessie, James, and Meowth skills such as tracking, stealing, and capturing\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

Future\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> games may want to give players\u00a0new gameplay options. Instead of being the usual Trainer, they\u00a0might take a narrative twist and become a Team Rocket member instead. In these situations, Team Rocket Academy can serve as a great base of operations for players to reacquaint themselves in the more comedic yet villainous role they took on.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>Battle Park (Johto)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Fans of the franchise’s Battle Frontier park might delight in Johto’s Battle Park. Unfortunately, Battle Park only makes an appearance in “One Trick Pony,” where it’s located between Blackthorn City and Mahogany Town. This place serves as a smaller version of Battle Frontier, where players can use rental\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon to battle visiting Trainers. Moreover, these\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon all know unique moves. In the anime, Team Rocket makes a ploy to steal the Battle Park’s\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon, which Ash and his pals stop.<\/p>\n

Players who want to try out their teams before going to Gyms can challenge\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon in a battle of strength and speed<\/a> the Battle Park. These Parks can act as hubs for players to meet and battle.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Mirage Kingdom (Hoenn)<\/h2>\n

Togepi remains as one of the cutest\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon in the franchise. Interestingly, the Mirage Kingdom is a kingdom that worships Togepi. Aside from being a land of pure cuteness, the Mirage Kingdom also has a special portal that leads to Togepi Paradise. In the case of the anime, Ash and his pals visit the Mirage Kingdom in pursuit of Team Rocket, who kidnapped Misty and her Togepi.<\/p>\n

Since the Mirage Kingdom is located beyond a desert, future games can easily include Mirage Kingdom as a secret area<\/a> or a part of DLC content. Aside from having its own short storyline, players may even encounter Shiny Togepi or other rare\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon there.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Space-Time Towers (Sinnoh)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

While they have their own storylines in\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Diamond<\/a>, Pearl<\/a><\/em>, and Platinum<\/em><\/a>, Ash and his pals encounter Dialga and Palkia in a major way\u00a0during\u00a0The Rise of Darkrai<\/em>. In the film, the Space-Time Towers serve as the largest musical instrument in the franchise’s mythos. This instrument serves as a means to calm Palkia and Dialga in their rage state.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, Space-Time Towers seem like a perfect place for future\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0<\/em>games that deal with massive events such as spacetime incursions and adventures. Moreover, the Space-Time Towers can serve as a way for players to travel across space and time.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Pok\u00e9mon Hills (Unova)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Ash and his pals eventually end up in\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Hills in\u00a0Genesect and the Legend Awakened<\/em>. Unlike other locations, citizens built Pok\u00e9mon Hills as a park to house various\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon. As such, it’s built to support various habitats suitable for all kinds of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u2013 from Bulbasaurs to Charizards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Hills can serve as a great backdrop for both a DLC area and a\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon-centric videogame. A new\u00a0Mystery Dungeon\u00a0<\/em>can\u00a0take place in the many environments of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Hills or a special DLC\u00a0could transform Trainers into rangers that help\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon get familiar with\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Hills.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Azoth Kingdom (Kalos)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Kingdoms don’t appear very often in\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon<\/em>, which is why they remain wonders to explore even in the anime. Located in Kalos, Ash and an angry Volcanion form an uneasy alliance as they discovery the mystery behind Azoth Kingdom in\u00a0Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel<\/em>. The Azoth Kingdom appears as a mechanical city built with science and magic. As such, it has teleportation devices, moving roads, and even escalators for its citizens.<\/p>\n

Games can include Azoth Kingdom as a DLC pack or a special area to explore for Trainers. If a game tries to adapt the anime films<\/a>, the Azoth Kingdom can definitely make for an interesting backdrop or central hub.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Dahara Tower (Kalos)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Dahara Tower became a sight to behold in\u00a0Hoopa and the Clash of Ages<\/em>, as circumstances forced the summoning of multiple Legendary\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon in a climactic battle. In\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0<\/em>lore, people built the Dahara Tower to honor Arceus, the Creator\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon. However, Ash and his pals get embroidered in an ancient conflict that forces Arceus itself to intervene.<\/p>\n

The epic nature of Dahara Tower can make it an awesome sight to behold, especially in\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0<\/em>games. Dahara Tower can serve as a backdrop for DLCs that focus on capturing or battling Legendary\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Pikachu Manor<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The Pikachu Manor first appeared in\u00a0Lights! Camera! Pika!<\/em>, in the continent of Kalos. Interestingly, movie director Frank owns the Pikachu Manor and filled this odd house with items and furniture that resemble Pikachu. There even is a Pikachu throne!<\/p>\n

New\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0<\/em>games can include the Pikachu Manor in the form of DLC that celebrates an event. Pikachu Manor\u00a0could even\u00a0contain a special Pikachu-themed adventure for Trainers to celebrate their love for this\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> mascot!<\/p>\n
