A comic book has appeared in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a> lobby that sets up the story for Season 4, including the arrival of both Thor and the terrifying Galactus.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Thor<\/em> comic found in\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> mirrors an ongoing storyline in the real world\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-marvel-season-4\/\"><em>Thor<\/em><\/a> comics where the God of Thunder is serving as the Herald for Galactus. The duo are working together to find suitable worlds for Galactus to consume so that he can fight off The Black Winter and save the universe. However, while traveling through space, Galactus senses a rift that leads to the world of\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>. Galactus then starts heading straight for the rift, but Thor zips ahead of him to warn those living in\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s world about Galactus&#8217; impending arrival.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/free-fortnite-cup-epic-games-apple\/\">Epic Announces &#8216;Free Fortnite&#8217; Cup That Mocks Apple<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Fortnite<\/em> players have also noticed a rift appearing above the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-gas-car-catty-corner\/\">Catty Corner location<\/a> on the battle royale map, which could indicate exactly where Thor is going to first show up. One has to imagine that Thor&#8217;s arrival will alter the battle royale map, so it looks like Catty Corner could be on the way out. Previously, reliable\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> leakers have suggested that Thor is getting his own major area on the map, so perhaps that will be its location.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FortTory\/status\/1297175358043758595\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the inclusion of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/15-marvel-characters-who-could-defeat-galactus-in-seconds\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Galactus<\/a> in the storyline has major implications for\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s future. Epic Games is known for hosting extravagant events whenever it makes a significant change to the\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> map, and having Galactus consume the existing\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> world would certainly fit the bill. It would also give Epic a clean slate to introduce a completely brand new battle royale map if it so desired, perhaps to coincide with\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s launch on next-generation consoles.<\/p>\n<p>How Galactus will tie in to\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> Season 4 remains to be seen, but fans can expect even more Marvel-themed content to come with Season 4. Besides the arrival of Thor and Galactus, leakers have revealed that\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> is adding a variety of Marvel Comics skins. Specifically, skins based on Groot, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-x-men-skins-storm\/\">Storm<\/a>, and Wolverine are apparently on the way, if the leakers are to be believed.<\/p>\n<p><em>Fortnite<\/em> has done Marvel crossovers in the past, including\u00a0<em>Avengers<\/em>-themed limited time modes, but nothing on this scale.
