New details have been gradually coming out since the announcement, touching upon how the game will play and how it might connect to the popular Arkham games. This now includes the first detail about the game\u2019s voice cast.<\/p>\n<p>Contrary to most of the rumors that have preceded the game\u2019s reveal, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/gotham-knights\/\"><em>Gotham Knights<\/em><\/a> won\u2019t be focused on Batman himself. Instead, the game will have players play as members of the extended Bat-family as they fight to protect Gotham City in the wake of Bruce Wayne\u2019s death. These members, according to the reveal trailer, include Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/gotham-knights-gameplay-trailer\/\">Gotham Knights Reveals First Gameplay<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>One thing DC didn\u2019t reveal at FanDome was who will be voicing these characters, but now that the game is official, one of the actors has come forward instead. That actor is Stephen Oyoung, and he confirmed on Twitter that he will be doing the voice of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/batman-arkham-2020-5-bat-family-members-playable-batgirl-robin-nightwing-red-hood\/\">Red Hood, AKA Jason Todd<\/a>, in <em>Gotham Knights<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This marks the latest high-profile role Oyoung has done in a superhero game. Fans will likely know him best for a role he played for DC\u2019s biggest competitor, as he also did the voice of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbr.com\/spider-man-ps4-mr-negative-explained\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mr. Negative, one of the major villains in <em>Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/em> for the PS4<\/a>. Now he will lend his skills to bring the gun-toting ex-Robin to life.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MrStephenOyoung\/status\/1297245530213330945\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>WB Games and its Montreal studio, which is developing <em>Gotham Knights<\/em>, have been fairly forthcoming with the broader details today. The trailers that were released at FanDome confirmed the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/batman-court-of-owls-game-leak-scott-snyder\/\">many rumors that the next <em>Batman<\/em> game will feature the Court of Owls<\/a>, while at the same time highlighting gameplay that will feature things like <em>Arkham<\/em>-style melee combat and two-player co-op.<\/p>\n<p>That last one has actually been a point of contention among fans so far, along with other aspects of the gameplay shown off today. From the looks of it, <em>Gotham Knights<\/em> may be going in a direction similar to Marvel\u2019s Avengers, with the incorporation of loot and RPG mechanics that suggest a possible live-service game, one that seems to not actually let players play as Batman.
