The Pok\u00e9mon machine continues to move forward. Hot on the heels of its first all-new mainline game on consoles with Pok\u00e9mon Sword & Shield<\/a>, Nintendo and The Pok\u00e9mon Company have announced a new Direct presentation focused on the beloved monster-collection franchise.<\/p>\n The presentation will consist of roughly 20 minutes of new information. While we don’t know what specific topics will be addressed, many fans are itching to know more about Pok\u00e9mon Home, the app where your Pok\u00e9mon will live between games. Last year, Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda hinted that we’ll learn more about Pok\u00e9mon Home in the not-too-distant future. “I think Pok\u00e9mon Home, for a lot of players, will serve as a launching pad to gather them all there and then embark on future adventures,” he told us as a part of our cover story visit.<\/p>\n It’s also possible that we’ll learn more about the Pok\u00e9mon animated webseries<\/a> that was announced in December, or the teased Detective Pikachu game for Switch<\/a>.<\/p>\n It all goes down on Thursday, January 9 at 9:30 a.m. Eastern\/6:30 a.m. Pacific.
