Mortal Kombat 11\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>is getting some new cosmetic items that highlight the roots of the series. The most recent skins for Mortal Kombat 11<\/em>\u00a0focused on festive Summer Heat<\/a> outfits for some of the main cast like Kitana and Baraka.<\/p>\n

NetherRealm is continuing their DLC streak with Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath<\/em><\/a> now through the Klassic Femme Fatale Skin Pack. The skin pack gives classic outfits to three iconic female fighters: Kitana, Skarlet, and Jade.<\/p>\n

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath<\/em> made changes to the franchise\u2019s history<\/a>,\u00a0with many character revelations altering much of the series\u2019 history. For those who don\u2019t know, Aftermath<\/em> is a major expansion for Mortal Kombat 11<\/em>\u2019s base game, with brand new story content, new fighters, and gameplay. All in all, the expansion was well-received by critics and players with a lot of new and enjoyable content added to the already solid package of Mortal Kombat 11<\/em>. NetherRealm has also continued supporting Aftermath<\/em> with new characters and cosmetics.<\/p>\n

Now, NetherRealm is releasing the next skin pack called Klassic Femme Fatale, which is available now for players to purchase. The pack gives players the classic costumes for three iconic female fighters from the series history, being Kitana, Skarlet, and Jade. NetherRealm states the costumes are reminiscent of Mortal Kombat 3<\/em>, with Kitana\u2019s blue \u201cSole Survivor Kitana\u201d skin, Jade in iconic green attire as \u201cOutworld Courier Jade,\u201d and Skarlet in her staple red as \u201cOld Blood Skarlet.\u201d Along with these skins, NetherRealm teased upcoming Halloween skins next<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans can expect the Halloween skin pack to be released on October 8. The Klassic Femme Fatale skin pack is available now, although NetherRealm clarified that the Nintendo Switch version of the skin pack would be available on starting on August 28. Aftermath<\/em> also got some new content in celebration with FanDome through the Anarchy Joker event<\/a>. The event focuses on a short Joker Tower event where the final opponent is none other than the Joker himself.<\/p>\n

NetherRealm has been on the ball with giving Mortal Kombat 11<\/em> players new content following the success of the Aftermath<\/em> expansion. While some fans weren\u2019t too thrilled with the Summer Heat skins, the Klassic Femme Fatale skins<\/a> will surely please long-time fans of the series. Interested players can jump in right now and give a few of the iconic ladies of Mortal Kombat<\/em> some great classic outfits.<\/p>\n
